Hebrews 10:26-39

Can we lose our salvation? Is it possible for those who have wandered away to be restored? We need to remember that this is written to encourage waverers to stay firm. We can be certain of one thing - while we remain close to Jesus and obey him we cannot lose our relationship with God. The temptations that we face will be very different to those of the first readers, but the challenge and encouragement is the same: to hang on. Reject all alternatives, resist the pull of attractions which will damage that relationship and do all that you can to stay close to Jesus (35,36).
