As many of you might already know..Fed has cut the interest rate another .75%

This will be benefit those who are looking for refinance again.

As for us, we are into saving money...so the rate for CD saving has drop down as well.

Something to thank God about is that we just opened two more CD saving accounts with a good rate
a week before the Fed announced the rate cut. Smile

For saving, we use WAMU.
The rate we locked in was 5.10% CD/8month term.
That was just a week before it fell.
Right now is around 2-2.85%. Smile

Just FYI. Fed rate is NOT directly affected fixed rate refi, but it does for ARM. The fixed rates mortgage is still decided by the market... that's why you won't see .75 dropped in 30-yr fixed (6.5apr for 30-fixed, and 7.3 for 30-jumbo-fixed) But we did see ARM dropped .75 right away.

Guess what the house my dad has an eye for last couple years ago. It locates just next to the park, large lot, worth about 800k before. His offer was 710K but it got sold at 740k to other people. Now the bank repo it back and asking price now is 599k!!! Shocked

He was praying for this house quite a long time until he got sick. Now I know why God did not grant him in the beginning. Smile

Gold is already above $1,000/oz. It is at its high right now.
Historic has shown that once the economy recover, gold price will drop.
