Thank you all who were helping out at the SongKran Festival 2008.
I think we did a very good job.

The team arrived about 7am and set up the booth.

On our side(the entertainment) was very busy all the time.
There were lots of people- Thai and others came to participate
with our spining wheel game.

Interestly when the wheel landed on the question "how do we get to heaven",
they all answer that we have to do a good deed.
This open up a good oppertunity for us to let them know that we are a sinner and no matter what, we still sin.
So Jesus is the only way for us to enter the kingdom of God.
After they recieved the prize, we invited them to go on next booth to find out more information.

Some of them not even know about God. But they get a chance to read the Bible verse.
This is great!

Part of the crowd-gathering was up to the leader on the wheel.
I notice if the leader talked louder, be more energitic, there will be lots of crowd waiting in line to get a chance to spin the wheels.
But we we stand there and do nothing, the crowd will not want to come near by.

After all, I think everyone did a good job.

Thing to improve next time :
I suggest we should have a mini songs for everyone at the booth to sing together.
Or even better, if we can come up with a short musical play to attact the audient that pass by.

The set up can be improve with the flow of the traffic.

We need more leader at the Wheel to greet the crowd and get the activity going.

We need a better visual aids - signs, banners, poster, projecter, and sound.

As for the gifts, next time we should have more of hats, fan, umbrella and cooling device.
I am sure there will be more people want to come spin the wheel!

It was a great experience to be there, totally something I had never, in person, seen or done before! I did not do much, but I think everyone did a great job. P'Petch was very energetic and he is gifted for whatever he was doing. I also never saw P'Phon and Aunty Hong being gameshow hosts before...they were great. They were louder and attracting more people than I was able to. (People walked away when I talked...) It was a great chance to get to know and work with other Thai churches as well.

I never learned how much attention you can get from people when you say the word "free". It a good learning experience.

Everyone who showed up and was part of the mission was a great blessing, whether from ThaiMission or other churches. It is very impressive and encouraging. Thanks to everyone, especially Jesus, of course.

ก่อนอื่นต้องขอยกนิ้วให้กับ อี้ฮ้ง พี่ต๋อม พี่เพชร ฝน เอ็ดดี้ โคบี้ ที่มี spirit แรงมาก เสียสละ ตื่นตั้งแต่เช้าไปเปิดบูธ แล้วก็ร่วมแรงร่วมใจช่วยกันประกาศให้หลาย ๆ คนในงานได้รู้จักพระเจ้า ไม่ใช่แค่ไปแต่เช้าแต่อยู่จนบ่ายเลย อากาศก็ร้อนมากมาก แล้วก็เกมส์ งาม วิว น้าสงกรานต์ ที่ตามมาช่วยตอนสาย ๆ เห็นแล้วรู้สึกประทับใจมากกับทุก ๆ คนที่มาร่วมแรงร่วมใจรับใช้พระเจ้า

ผู้คนหลายคนในงานสนใจบูธของ Thaimission ไม่น้อยเลย หลายครั้งที่มีคนมาต่อแถวยาวเพื่อจะเล่นเกมส์และเอาของรางวัล น่ายินดีจริง ๆ

ดีใจที่เอ็ดดี้ได้ประสบการณ์ดีดีจากงานนี้ไป พี่เห็นแล้วก็ดีใจที่เอ็ดดี้ได้มาร่วมด้วย แต่เสียดายไม่เห็นตอนเอ็ดดี้แสดงฝีมือตอนที่คนเดินหนีตอนเอ็ดดี้พูดน่ะ จริงๆเหรอ ไม่มั้ง

พี่ฝนก็สุดยอด อี้ฮ้งนี่ก็เยี่ยมมาก พี่ต๋อมไม่ต้องห่วงเลยเป็นพี่ที่ห่วงน้อง ๆ และรอบคอบที่สุด โคบี้นี่ก็ต้องชื่นชมว่าอายุแค่นี้ ผมก็รับใช้พระเจ้าได้แล้วครับ

แล้วก็อยากชื่นชมน้องเกมส์เป็นส่วนตัว รู้สึกว่าเกมส์ทุ่มเทที่จะรับใช้พระเจ้ามากขึ้นมากขึ้นทุกวัน

งามกับวิวก็เช่นกัน ขอบคุณพระเจ้าที่เห็นเค้าทั้งสองมาร่วมแรงร่วมใจรับใช้พระเจ้า

ยกนิ้วให้ทุกคน ยอดเยี่ยมจริง ๆ

เรายังจะไม่หยุดยั้งในการอธิษฐานเพื่อพวกเขา อาเมน！

ในงานนี้มีพี่น้องที่อยู่เบึ้องหลังหลายคนมากที่ทำให้งานนี้สำเร็จไปด้วยดี
ผมคงไม่ต้องกล่าวชื่อเพราะขอพระเจ้าเป็นผู้ประทานเกียรติและรางวัลส่วนตัวแก่พี่น้องเหล่านี้
แต่สิ่งที่ผมอยากจะหนุนใจว่าเราต้องการคนที่จะมีส่วนร่วมมากขึ้นในงาน
นี้
สำหรับปีต่อไป ท่านหลายคนอาจจะเห็นว่าสิ่งของที่เราแจกในงานนั้นมีมากมายและดูเหมือนมาง่าย
มีเงินก็ได้ของมา แต่ผมขอบอกว่ามันมาจากน้ำใจและแรงงานของคนที่อยู่เบี้องหลังทั้งหมด เช่น

1) วารสาร 700 ฉบับๆละ 12 หน้า ตั้งแต่ออกแบบ เสร็จวันศุกร์ตี 3 ก๊อปปี้
เสร็จบ่าย 2 วันเสาร์ พับและเย็บเล่มด้วยมือ ทำเสร็จภายในคืนวันเสาร์เพื่อให้ท่านแจกวันอาทิตย์ในงาน

2) ปกซึดีและวีซีดี 400 แผ่น ออกแบบ พิมพ์และก๊อปปี้เอง พับด้วยมือและติดกาวแบบพับถุงขาย
ที่ทำเองเพราะเพื่อประหยัด และดูดีกว่าซองขาวเปล่าๆ แต่ทั้งหมดก็ต้องใช้เวลา
ภายใน 2-3 วันสุดท้ายด้วยแรงงานของคนกลุ่มเดียวกัน (โดยเฉพาะแรงงานเด็กๆ 3-4 คน)

3) ก๊อปปี้ วีซีดี 200 แผ่น ดีวีดี 200 แผ่น ทำกันทั้งวันทั้งคืน ด้วยคนเพียงหยิบมือเดียวเพื่อให้ทันงาน
4) ทีมงานตอนตั้งมาตั้งแต่ก่อน 7 โมงเช้า และโดยเฉพาะตอนเก็บเหลือไม่มีกี่คนก็เป็นชุดเดียวกับคนตั้งตอนเช้า

5) อื่นๆอีกมากมาย

แรงงานเหล่านี้ถ้าคิดแล้วต้องใช้เวลาเป็น 1000 ชม. แต่พยามทำให้เสร็จภายใน 72 ชม.
ด้วยคนเพียงหยิบมือเดียว ทำได้ แต่เหนื่อยมากกกกก! เรากล่าวเช่นนี้ขอเพียงเพื่อพี่น้อง
ทุกคริสตจักรที่ร่วมส่วนมาช่วยกันมากขึ้นในปีหน้า เพื่อเราทุกคนสามารถเป็นพระพรต่อกันและ
กันได้มากและมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น เพื่อทุกคนจะได้พระพรเท่าเทียมกัน
และเพื่อแผ่นดินของพระเจ้าจะได้ไปถึงคนไทยทุกคน นะครับ

รายงานสรุปการเงินต่างๆจะตามมาครับ และขอท่านชื่นชมกับงานนี้ร่วมกัน
ปีหน้าย่อมดีกว่าปีนี้แน่นอน แต่ขอเราเตรียมชีวิตแห่งการอธิษฐานและร่วมส่วนมากขึ้นนะครับ

ขอพระเจ้าทรงอำนวยพระพรท่าน ครอบครัวของท่านและคริสตจักรของท่านอันเป็นที่รักยิ่งของพระคริสต์
ขอหนุนใจ จงร่วมส่วนในพันธกิจของคริสตจักรของท่านอย่างสุดกำลังของท่าน

1. im truly impressed! great work folks!

2. can we sell thai tea next year for fund raising? i used to help Chinese church to sell corn dog and lemonade in luner new year function for funding youth to do evangelism and supporting in New Orlean, and turned out pretty well. think about it..
