Yesterday we ran into a major problem. After remove the kitchen floor,
we discovered that the plumbing line is very bad. The pipe are all rust out.
Water is slowly dipping out. that's why we have a weak floor due to the moisture build up.
We have to change all pipe to copper pipe and drain line which will cost another $7,000!
Lesson learnt...has to be very careful when it comes to buy an old house.
re-pipe is costly, but it got to be done. Now my house is almost rebuild the whole thing from ground up!

Oh my goodness!!!!! so rusty!! when did this house was built? 1950? anyway, thank God to discover this problem during your remodeling the house, otherwise, you may pay more after everything is done!!

we also just fixed the kitchen pipe in our unit couple weeks ago, never known that it was leaking for ages!!!

Hang in there Petch... this house will be a tremendeous blessings to your visiters in the future!! Razz

My kitchen is almost done now. Thank God, yesterday the city has
passed the inspection for external wall. Inside, the cabinets and counter
top has been installed. What a different does it make!

Almost done!
Now the appliants is in place.
New Windows are installed.
Kitchen is completed
only external wall has to be paint and we are ready for final inspection.

Everything should be ready this week. Yeah!
